EPUB vs. PDF
EPUB is the standard e-book format: text reflows to fit any screen size, ideal for e-readers and reading apps. PDF has fixed pages, which suits printing, annotating on a tablet, or devices and programs without an EPUB reader. Converting gives you a document that looks the same everywhere.
What changes
The conversion uses Pandoc and focuses on the content: text, headings, lists and images. The original e-book design, special fonts and complex layouts are replaced by a clean standard layout. Copy-protected (DRM) EPUBs can’t be converted. Only convert books you are entitled to use.
How to convert
Drop your EPUB above, PDF is preselected, click “Convert” and download. Pandoc runs inside your browser, so the book is never uploaded.
