What is ODT?
ODT is the OpenDocument text format, the default of LibreOffice Writer and OpenOffice and common in public administration. Not everyone has software that opens ODT, and many portals only accept PDF. A PDF is universally readable and keeps your layout fixed.
Faithful results
Because the conversion uses LibreOffice itself – the program ODT was made for – layout, tables, images and formatting come out very faithfully. Fonts that aren’t available may be substituted. Processing happens on your device, so official or personal documents stay private.
How to convert
Choose or drop the ODT above; the office page opens automatically. Click “Convert” and download the PDF. LibreOffice (about 77 MB) is loaded once on first use and runs locally afterwards.
