What is OGG?
OGG is an open container for audio, usually with the Vorbis or Opus codec. You’ll find it in games, open-source software, browser recordings and some messenger voice messages. Apple devices, many car stereos and some programs don’t support OGG. MP3 works practically everywhere.
What to expect
Converting OGG to MP3 re-encodes one lossy format into another. For speech and music in everyday use you won’t notice a difference. The MP3 may be slightly larger than an efficient Opus file. Basic tags may carry over.
How to convert
Drop your OGG file above, MP3 is preselected, click “Convert” and download. FFmpeg does everything locally in your browser – no upload.
